NDT Concrete Testing – Rebound Hammer & UPV in Pollachi | Testoraa Labs

PM Testoraa Labs carried out a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) assessment for a proposed G+1 residential building at Ponnachiyur, Samathur Village, Pollachi, Coimbatore District, on 02 July 2026.
The investigation was conducted to assess the in-situ quality, uniformity, and condition of concrete in the RCC structural elements using Rebound Hammer Testing and Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV) Testing.
The Rebound Hammer Test was used to evaluate the surface hardness and indicative compressive strength of concrete, while UPV testing was carried out to assess the quality and uniformity of concrete and identify possible internal defects or discontinuities.
The combined NDT results provided valuable information on the existing concrete condition and supported the structural quality assessment and engineering evaluation of the building.
