Forensic Structural Inspection of RCC Terrace Slab – Water Leakage, Cracks & Concrete Quality, Coimbatore

PM Testoraa Labs carried out a forensic structural inspection of a newly constructed first-floor RCC terrace slab at Sri Sakthi Nagar, Maharani Avenue, Coimbatore, on 13 June 2026.

The investigation was undertaken to assess water leakage, cracking distress, workmanship-related defects, and the in-situ quality of concrete in the terrace slab. The inspection included visual assessment of distress locations and appropriate testing to understand the condition and possible causes of leakage and cracking.

The findings were evaluated to identify the probable causes of deterioration and to assess the overall condition of the RCC slab. Based on the investigation, suitable recommendations were provided for repair, waterproofing, crack treatment, and preventive measures to improve durability and serviceability.

The assessment helped provide a technically supported basis for selecting appropriate remedial measures and preventing further distress in the structure.
