Structural audit, building condition assessment and NDT carried out for an existing RCC residential building at KS Garden, Koundampalayam, Coimbatore, with recommendations for repair, maintenance and structural safety. PM Testoraa Labs carried out a Structural Audit, Building Condition Assessment, and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) for an existing residential RCC building at KS Garden, Koundampalayam, Coimbatore, on 21 June 2026.
The assessment was undertaken to evaluate the overall structural condition, concrete quality, visible cracks, deterioration, reinforcement-related concerns, and general health of the building.
The investigation included detailed visual inspection and appropriate NDT methods to assess the in-situ condition of RCC structural elements without causing significant damage to the structure.
Based on the inspection and test findings, the condition of the building was evaluated and suitable recommendations were provided for repair, maintenance, strengthening, and preventive measures, wherever required.
Regular structural health assessments help identify early signs of deterioration and support the safe, durable, and serviceable performance of existing buildings.
